Addiction pictures for discussion

Suitable for discussion and use with late teen or adult Language students, e.g. ESL, Spanish, French, German, Italian as well as Health Awareness lessons etc… the 48 photographs will surely encourage learners to talk about several types of addiction and more. Pictures are presented in various sizes, i.e. 1, 2, 4 and 12 to a page. This allows for a variety of activities, from flash cards to pairs games, depending on the skills of your learners. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the rough nature of this topic, some of the pictures and themes are NOT SUITABLE for younger students. A PowerPoint presentation features all 48 pictures as well as slide 1 for you to adapt to your needs, e.g. learning aims and an empty slide at the end to allow you to add anything you would like. This presentation file is also included as a .pdf file. The colourful pictures can just as easily be printed in black and white. Back to School with this straight forward, easy to use resource, ready to print and use . Learners are encouraged to reflect upon and describe their responses in writing as well as apply creativity and thinking skills. Why not use the end results for group or class discussions or even for a colorful display on your classroom wall? All sheets have a space for the student’s name. The 6 topic areas are: About me If I were… At school Out of school My Holidays My goals Each topic is presented as a work sheet with boxes for illustrations, as a page for a mind map, and as a writing frame. These 18 sheets are well suited for class activities as well as for differentiation. All could be completed independently. This resource could also be used with EFL students.
